Originally from the UK, Lisa holds a degree in Japanese Studies, with a focus on Japanese Literature. She has been teaching children in Japan since 2015. Over the years, she has built a rich and varied career here — starting at Nakameguro After-School in 2020, moving into a homeroom teacher role at Gakugei-daigaku Kindergarten in 2023, and most recently stepping into the position of Head Teacher at Komazawa After-School in 2024.
As a teacher, Lisa aims to help children see learning as something fun, build their confidence, and develop curiosity about the world around them.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and karaoke.
