She worked as a kindergarten teacher in the U.S. for five years before coming to Japan, where she spent ten years as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) at junior high and high schools in Sunagawa and Moseushi, Hokkaido. Her hobbies include music, karaoke, and spending time with her beloved dogs—especially her favorite breed, the Corgi. She has even participated in the YOSAKOI Soran Festival in Hokkaido. Rina hopes that children will always find joy and excitement in learning new things and taking on challenges with a positive spirit.
