Originally from the United States, Amber graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a major in Linguistics. After teaching for two years at a kindergarten in South Korea, she moved to Japan, where she taught English to students of various ages and proficiency levels at an English conversation school. She found great joy in teaching young children and has focused on early childhood education for the past four years. Amber hopes to nurture children’s independence and creative thinking, and to help them express their ideas and feelings confidently in English. Her hobbies include music, art, and learning new languages. She has studied French, Spanish, Korean, and Japanese.
