Head Teacher
Originally from the United States, Shaun holds a degree in Theatre and Performance. He taught drama in English for about three years at a drama school in Tokyo, while also teaching English conversation to students ranging from young children to adults. After that, he spent around four years in Taiwan, teaching Science, Physical Education, and Art in English at a bilingual elementary school. Later, he lived in Hidaka, Hokkaido, where he worked as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) for three years in elementary, junior high, and high schools.
He is also a father of young children himself and has a deep love for teaching and nurturing kids. Shaun believes that our school’s curriculum provides highly effective and meaningful learning experiences for children. He hopes to create energetic and enjoyable classes where students can cooperate and grow together. His hobbies include camping and cycling with his family, and he also enjoys playing the ukulele.
