Head Teacher
Originally from the United States, Mike graduated from Purdue University in Indiana, holding degrees in Japanese, Spanish, and Asian Studies. He has extensive experience teaching at Japanese elementary and junior high schools, as well as many years of leadership and teaching experience as a Head Teacher at this school. Mike is passionate about providing students with genuine opportunities to use English in meaningful ways. He believes that “learning through English” helps build a foundation for future success. In his lessons, he values rich communication with students and encourages them to express themselves freely in English.
His hobbies include translation, exercise, playing card and board games, and reading. He also enjoys exploring Japan—his favorite destination is Ise Jingu Shrine.
