Originally from the United Kingdom, Jonathan earned a Master’s degree in Photography from the University of the Arts London. He is a creative educator with experience teaching English to learners of various ages. Since coming to Japan, he has worked as an English instructor at conversation schools and international schools. Jonathan is skilled at designing engaging lesson plans tailored to each child’s learning needs and creating an inclusive classroom environment where everyone can enjoy learning. He hopes that children will cherish their dreams for the future, develop resilience through interaction with many people, and grow into confident, capable individuals. He has a deep interest in Japanese shrines and enjoys collecting goshuin (temple and shrine stamps).
