Building Confidence in English

By engaging in inquiry-based learning in an all-English environment for five hours a day, children naturally acquire communication skills in English. From the day they enter the school, all questions and instructions from teachers are given in English. In particular, listening and speaking skills are steadily developed.

In addition, we set aside about 30 to 40 minutes every day for “Language Strategies,” which is specialized in strengthening the four skills of English proficiency. This time focuses on reading and phonics. In reading, we use materials appropriate to the English level to improve reading comprehension, as well as provide comprehensive learning including grammar and writing. In phonics, children learn the regularities between English spelling and pronunciation, but the goal is not to memorize the rules, but to improve their reading ability by memorizing the rules.
