Originally from the United States, Amy graduated from New Mexico State University with a major in Anthropology. With over 15 years of teaching experience in Japan, she has a rich background in education. During her time in Ehime Prefecture, she was involved in early childhood education through English-based original musical productions, art, and crafts. Her wide range of hobbies includes crafting, music, costume making, and reading about anthropology and archaeology, which she studied at university. In her classroom, Amy encourages children to speak up without fear of making mistakes and to share their fun, fresh, and creative ideas freely.
